Girl on the Move!

Well, one thing is for sure!

This girl likes to Move it! Move it!
{cue the song from "Madagascar"}

The weekly photo shoots are becoming a practice in acrobatics...and it's "all hands on deck" to keep blocks and place and babies from falling.

But the smiles and photos are so worth it! We can't believe how much she's growing!

Woo hoo! 35 weeks!

A Whole New View!

In the category of things I want to remember...
This was May 21. I decided to put a few things away in Anna's room, so I put her in her crib to play.

Typically, she's not sitting up when she's in there and usually has a sleep sack on. No sooner did I put her in there and she reached up and stood right up as though she'd been doing that her whole life! I was shocked!

By the look on her face, she was too!

I grabbed a couple of videos to send to her dad and he couldn't believe it! She got a kick out of herself...

Then proceeded to walk around the crib. As soon as he came home, we lowered that mattress!

32 Weeks

Life is good when you're smiling so much that your eyes are squished shut in all of your photos!

This snuggly, buggly girl is growing like a weed, learning new tricks and cracking us up!

Sweet as pie and full of fun!

Growing and Growing and Growing

Images from late May 2011. Funny, seems like an hour ago. And years ago. Sigh.

Florida: Vaca, Sweet Vaca

It was a vacation that vacations are made of.

Her first feel of sand in her toes...

...and between her fingers.
Time spent on the beach...

Savoring the chance to take these chubby-cheeked smiles in.

Shoulder rides high in the sky...

Snuggles and photo ops...
Water play...
...and more beach-side snuggles. And a good friend? All the better.
Over-sunned smiles.
Time in the tent

and time exploring.
Toes in the pool...
Play time with Daddy...
And time spent taking it all in.

That?
That's the vacation vacation's are made of.

Safety Net

Oh, my goodness.

I have been too busy to blog. I'm trying to get a handle on my life and have, as my mother calls them, "margins."

There are none right now. Travel and work and baby and household and nasty bout of the stomach flu have my home in a constant state of dissary. And I don't even know how to spell dissary.

And spending time with and enjoying this baby is my #1 priority. The blog updating will have to wait, cause babies? They don't keep.

As a matter of fact, you BLINK and they're 8 months old. 8.

And pulling up on things and walking supported and dive-bombing off chairs...

...lucky their grand-dads...

...are there to catch them.

This week?

He was there to catch me, too.

I am so thankful for him.

Nothing like knowing your father is always there to catch you.
