Two Weeks Ago Today...

Two weeks ago today, our newly formed family...

...packed up the room where we spent our first hours as "3"...

...photographed our fresh, new baby one last time in her hospital crib...

...and tentatively put our precious cargo in her carrier for the first time.

Two weeks ago today we took a photo in the lobby of the hospital while we waited for the new daddy to pull up the car.

Two weeks ago today it was 86 degrees. We roasted as we took a final family photo at the hospital.

As we drove ever. so. slowly. home, we marveled at how the world around us kept turning, while ours seemed to have stood still.

Once again, I couldn't help but photograph these tiny, tiny feet. The toes that bewilder me with their miniature-ness. And their potential.

Two weeks ago today, the new daddy headed inside with his itty...ready to introduce her to her new home.

She slept through most of it.

We continued to marvel at her newborn haze.

Two weeks ago today, this new mama sat on the deck with her tiny babe, while Daddy played with the puppy. This day, like those leading up to it, was a day this new mama had always dreamed of.
And, finally, two weeks ago today, Oggy met his sister.

And none of our worlds have been the same since.

But I couldn't be happier.

Sweet post. I am so happy for you guys. Give Sweet Anna a hug and kiss from me. Also the picture in my header is when Isaac was 5 and Olivia was 3 or something like that. I was just going through old pictures and wanted a bit of a change. . perhaps wishing they were younger! :-)
